Jo: Another Head Injury

On August 10, 1991, about a month after Jo says her mother struck and bruised Jo's left temple, Audrey Spall telephoned Jo's pediatrician and described another head injury Jo suffered.  The new head injury was accompanied by symptoms of vomiting, headache, fatigue and loss of appetite.

I learned of the injury ten months later when I obtained a copy of Jo's medical file from her pediatrician, Dr. Herbert Brosbe (see copy below).  I then telephoned Jo's mother to inquire about it.  Initially, Ms. Spall denied the injury ever occurred and further denied ever calling Jo's pediatrician.

After I informed Ms. Spall I had seen the medical file she told me I should be thankful she was concerned enough to call the pediatrician if Jo got hurt.
